ROMY

Distinguishing traits: Freckles, darkness under her eyes, weird haircut (seriously, what's up with that hair?). Main character of the story.
Occupation: Full-time medical student. Works part-time. (Mystery occupation until it's revealed in the comic!)
Info: Despite being a medical student, Romy's the kind of girl who can be easily discouraged at times. Her biggest fear is that she's not as smart as she thinks she is. She's an only child whose family lives in the deep south, who have disowned her for her sexuality. She's deep in debt with student loans for medical school, and has problems sleeping due to the stress (hence the darkness around her eyes).

JULIETA aka JULIET
Age: 23
Sex/Sexuality: Female / straight

Distinguishing traits: Loves polka dots WAY too much. Usually wears a headband of some type, and most often wears dresses and lipstick. Dark-skinned.
Occupation: Works for a local designer for her main job, makes and sells her own clothing on the side with moderate success.
Info: Juliet has an uncanny ability to be in the right place at the right time, and she's also got good luck. She's straight and in a serious relationship with a guy, much to the outrage of SEEN fans. XD Juliet is the type of person who has a soothing and gentle personality, and seems to emit a very classy, womanly persona. She's also good at delivering reality checks to people in need (aka Romy.) Used to smoke, but has since kicked the habit. :) Good for her!

VLAD
Age: 21
Sex/Sexuality: Male / gay
First Appearance: HEARD, page 6
Distinguishing traits: Black hair and eyes, lanky body type with too-tight clothes.
Occupation: Full-time student majoring in Chemistry.
Info: Vlad, aka "Vlad the Impaler" when he's feeling sexy, is an overbearing loud-mouth type of guy. One of Romy's close guy friends, he doesn't overthink any situation. He has very few inhibitions and says exactly what he's thinking, which can come off pretty abrasive at times. He's secure in his sexuality, likes to tease, and hates to be considered girly. He used to have really long hair.

ELLIOT
Age: 20
Sex/Sexuality: Male / gay
First appearance: HEARD, page 11
Distinguishing traits: Tall, kinda unkempt looking guy. Definitely straight-acting, relaxed fashion sense.
Occupation: Part-time student majoring in restaurant management, working at a restaurant on the side.
Info: Met Vlad at the gay dance club, and has been meeting up with him there ever since. He's always being hit on by girls since he seems straight, but he's only interested in Vlad at the moment. He has some self-esteem issues and doesn't think Vlad could possibly like him THAT way, though. Is the responsible kind of guy who doesn't drink much, and usually ends up being a designated driver.

HANNAH
Age: 21
Sex/Sexuality: Female / lesbian?
First Appearance: HEARD, page 13
Distinguishing traits: Tall and thing. Dark skinned, of ambiguous race (will be revealed in the comic). Hair is two toned-- black on the sides, gold on top.
Occupation: Full-time student, accounting.
Info: Hannah doesn't talk much about herself-- she's quiet in general. She's a good listener and always knows what's going on. For now, she's pretty mysterious, and not that much is known. Bailey has been her friend since high school, but they don't seem similar at all..

CHO
Age: 21
Sex/Sexuality: Female / lesbian
First appearance: HEARD, page 13
Distinguishing traits: Short and slender. Her bangs are cut straight-across and the back is left a bit spiky. She has an edgy sense of style. Korean.
Occupation: Full-time Graphic Design student. She does some freelance design work, but mostly does work for the campus radio and newspaper.
Info: We don't know too much about Cho yet. She tends to flirt with every girl she (thinks) she has a chance with. She's pretty touchy-feely, which can make some people uncomfortable. Seems to have some sort of history with Olivia, and a strained relationship with her parents.

OLIVIA
Age: 20
Sex/Sexuality: Female / lesbian?
First appearance: HEARD, page 13
Distinguishing traits: Short, average weight, with long blonde hair. She's got the biggest boobies of all the characters. Dresses in a really girly fashion.
Occupation: Full-time student, doesn't work on the side. Her major is business, but she doesn't take academics very seriously.
Info: Olivia is still pretty mysterious. She and Cho seem to have some history behind them. I can't reveal any interesting things here, or it'll spoil the story! Here's some boring info.. she has a little brother, and her parents are divorced and re-married. Olivia is rich. Why? Mystery!

BAILEY
Age: 20
Sex/Sexuality: Female / lesbian?
First appearance: HEARD, page 13
Distinguishing traits: A bit taller than average, but shorter than Hannah. A bit meaty, especially around the tummy. Her hair is short and super-straight. The majority of it is dark brown, the underside bleached white. Wears glasses. Has two beauty marks on the left side of her face: one under her eye, the other under her lips.
Occupation: Full-time student. No part-time job.
Info: Bailey is the super-geek of the group. She's always obsessed with some video game or anime, or manga.. or anything nerdy. She gets crushes easily, but never gets the girl. She's been friends with Hannah since high school. She's afraid of Pyramid Head. She's approachable and easy to talk to.
